If you currently reside in a county that is part of the NC Cardinal Consortium, you do not need a Stanly County Public Library card to borrow physical materials. However, access to our digital library services requires a Stanly County Public Library card and payment of the applicable out-of-county fee: $35 per individual per year or $50 per family per year. This must be paid over the phone or in person before card activation.
